The Shem Creek Hideaway is roomier than I expected, based on the listing photos. It is a very comfortable home in a pleasant neighborhood. We appreciated the air conditioning when returning from adventures in the late June heat. Really enjoyed our afternoon kayak tour on Shem creek. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Communication with the host was prompt and hospitable. Wi-fi worked well for the bit of work I needed to do while away. Very pleased with our experience!

Great place to stay. Super cute and cozy. The master bed is way more firm than I prefer personally but it was the perfect stay overall.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and location of this beautiful home. It was perfect for our 3-4 guests. Its location is great for nearby beaches, shopping, Shem Creek, downtown Charleston, and so much more. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!
