Charming Avondale Home ~ 5 min from Downtown!

Stayed the weekend at this beautiful home with total of 4 adults. It has 2 driveways which worked out well since we drove in 3 separate vehicles. Upon entry, it was very clean with a signature hotel smell in the air that was very inviting. Home is very spacious with 3 bedrooms all queen sized beds and a separate room with a pocket door and twin bed. Also 2 full baths. We only used 2 rooms and could have easily had another couple stay without it feeling crowded. Beds were incredibly comfortable. I loved cooking in the spacious kitchen. Location is great. Harris Teeter grocery store is across the street. We went to a Citadel game and to downtown Charleston which was all about a 10 minute drive, if that. This home is set up like a luxury hotel from the furniture, fixtures and tile work to the towels, pillows and bedsheets. We were particularly impressed with the chandelier in the hall bath which added to the elegance. Only comment is the pathway from the garage driveway could use some solar-powered pathway lights to make it easier to see at night since the giant tree covers the street lights. Other than that, we had a very lovely stay at this beautiful home. Stay here if you want to feel like you are in an upscale bed & breakfast yet not far from all the Charleston sights.
